Privacy policy

My Korea Map (the “Service”) values your privacy and complies with applicable laws, including Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, and how we store and delete it.
1. Personal information collected
A. Sign-in with Kakao
You can sign in with a Kakao account. When you sign in, we receive and store the following information from Kakao.

B. Information collected automatically
The following information may be collected automatically to analyze service usage.
- IP address, cookies, access date and time, browser and device information, and service usage records
We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Naver Analytics for statistical analysis. These tools collect and analyze the information above using cookies.
C. Information you provide
When using maps and regional boards, you may submit the following information.
- Visited and wish-list regions, map colors, and personal map information
- Posts, comments, reactions, uploaded photos, and other community activity
2. How we use personal information

3. Retention and deletion
When you delete your account, all collected personal information (Kakao member ID, email, nickname, profile image, gender, age range, birth year, map records, and community activity) is deleted immediately.
Personal information is deleted irreversibly and is never reused or provided to third parties in any form.
4. Third-party sharing and outsourcing
We do not generally provide personal information to outside parties. To operate the service, we outsource statistical analysis as follows.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — Service usage analysis.
- NAVER Corporation (Naver Analytics) — Service usage analysis.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. Account deletion immediately removes your information. For other requests, contact us below and we will respond without delay.
